Tubular turbine
The tubular turbine is proper to power station with low water head and the applied water head is H=2~30 meters. This kind turbine does not need the separated power house because it was arranged horizontally in dam or base. This tubular turbine adopting straight taper suction owned higher frequency and better flow capacity than the axial flow turbine with elbow type suction. The domestic manufactories of this kind turbine are few at the present.
